Software developers shortage in 2024?

I’ve been living in the Netherlands for 22 years. I initially came here due to a clear of IT resources at the time. Now, 22 years later, it seems the same issue persists. In fact, throughout those years, the shortage appears to have been a constant.

This challenge likely doesn’t impact top-tier companies, which can simply throw large sums of money at the problem, or Amsterdam-based startups fresh from a million-euro funding round. However, it does affect the rest. At SynDevs, we aim to offer a competitive solution to help these companies navigate the IT talent gap.

The persistent shortage of IT talent has driven many companies to adopt innovative and creative approaches to meet their resource needs. One such initiative was spearheaded by me: 20 years ago, I began hiring Argentinian developers remotely. Since then, I’ve continually refined and optimized this approach, making it highly efficient. Here’s why Argentina is an excellent choice, particularly in 2024.

A common phrase that comes out of articles in list below :

No single solution is likely to fix the Netherlands’ worker shortage

and this actually encourages me to take some risk and start my own attempt to be part of the solution: Welcome SynDevs!
